This is off topic, but I just had to write of my very recent experience with Citizen's Bank in Nashua, NH.
I was given a personal check for $10.00, from a friend and went to Citizen's Bank to cash it. The bank the check was drawn on. Because I am smart enough to NOT have an account at that bank, the teller tried to charge me $7.00 to cash it. I said, "What? You want to charge me $7.00 to cash a check drawn on your bank? Forget it," and walked out. Isn't this illegal?
What is up with the bank's these day's? I never liked that bank to begin with after getting screwed over by them in the past, but this just made my blood boil. No wonder people close their bank account's and join Credit Union's. Does anybody think of anything other than money any more?
