Austin Knightly in State custody at Silver Lake, NOT being watched

The above picture of my grandson Austin was taken at Silver Lake State Park, while in DCYF custody, being held by St. Charles Children's Home for the state of NH. I just recently learned Austin was left to run off on his own, without anyone watching him. Aquaintences of his mother caught him trying to get out to the dock to obtain the cone he has in front of him. They chased him, stopped him and retrieved the cone for him. He could have drowned while being "protected" by the state. I'd hate to see what they call NOT being "protected".

  1. It sounds like a missed opportunity to become Canadian citizens to me.

  2. It's too bad the people that saved him didn't know who he was at the time. He could be a Canadian citizen by now instead of being a Prisoner of NH!

  3. Is the person taking the photo not "watching" him?

  4. No, the people who took the photo are the people who went after him as he tried to get out to the dock to retrieve the cone. If they hadn't been there, he would have drowned.
If the children's home had of been watching him, this picture would never have been taken. It wouldn't have been allowed.

  5. Maybe if his OWN parents were taking care of him....

  6. Austin's mother was taking care of him along with our help. Does it matter when a parent is FALSELY accused and the child is taken? Not in NH. Criminal charges get dropped in court because evidence proving innocence is admitted and the CORRUPT Family Court Judges STILL refuse to admit the evidence and return the children. So you DON'T know everything. It's a matter of legality and Justice. Neither of which were practiced in this case as well as many other's.

    1. These people Who say "if the parents were watching him" have no idea how fast the state are moving in and taking kids with no good cause. A perverse financial incentive has been built into the system to adopt these children into other families. It's worth looking into if you haven't heard anything about it, because it is happening and it is scary as hell.

  7. I like your page and it's encouraging to see you still trying , Few know how difficult such is except for those that are actually effected by this kind of traumatic situation .

My personal story ... one more conformation of criminality in our courts .

  8. I'm confused what happened. He went to a state park to play and have fun with staff. He turned and ran to the dock to get a cone and the staff went after him to make sure he was safe(which they did and he was) and they even brought the cone back over for him. He appears to be happy in the picture minutes after the incident. Are you saying that he should be kept on a leash or have someone hold his hand at all times. Sounds like something any normal kid has done at times, gets impulsive. I don't think they were neglectful in any way. I understand your anger but it seems to be blinding you.

    1. You misread what I wrote. The staff were NOT watching him. Aquaintences of his mother, whom she met after this happened, had this picture of Austin. They, NOT the staff saved him from drowning and got him the cone from out at the dock. The staff let him take off on his own. And yes, he was quite happy after being saved and given the cone, but it had nothing to do with the Childrens Home staff.
