State auditor will scrutinize Child Protective Services

State auditor will scrutinize Child Protective Services | CalWatchDog:

SACRAMENTO — It’s audit time for Child Protective Services, part of the California Department of Social Services. A protest rally by 100 people at the Capitol Wednesday morning charged the agency with both abusing its powers and neglecting real cases of child abuse. I took the nearby picture at the rally. Later that day the Joint Legislative Audit Committee of the California Legislature held hearings  on CPS.
Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, R-Hesperia, and Assemblyman Mike Gatto, D-Los Angeles, made the bipartisan, formal audit request to the committee.  The CPS operates largely in secrecy under the protection of the state courts.

  2. Yes and an Audit of NH DCYF is also long overdue. But not just one Audit. A yearly Audit at the least. Parents and families have been pushing the NH State Legislature to audit DCYF every six months to a year. Nothing is happening. After all of the Petitions brought forward by the Redress Grievance Committee and also Founded by the Committee, evidence shows DCYF is definitely NOT being held accountable for their deceitful, unethical practices. The Founded Petition's sit in limbo, thank's to Speaker Norrelli's ending of the Redress Committee. DCYF and the Courts were found to be at fault, yet the families abused by the system still have no recourse. Children stolen fraudulently from innocent families still have NOT been returned.
As in the Eric L. case, DCYF and the Family Courts still fail the children and families of NH.
You think California is bad? Don't try raising your children in NH. They don't believe in biological families. This is a State that believes in picking and choosing a child's parents.
Every State Nationwide needs to be audited. Not just once, not even yearly, but every six months at the least.
Our children are NOT For Sale!
