This is a power play by the nurse and CPS. The nurse had no right to call CPS. What she did was invasion of privacy and illegal. Akin to the SS of WWII where everyone tattles on everyone in order to get recognition
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a power play by the Nurse. The same thing happened to my daughter, only her daughter was NEVER returned. The Nurse's retaliated against her after they gave her the wrong baby and she flipped out on them. The Hospital Social Worker called DCYF and reported illegal drugs in the baby, without any proof. Four day's later the baby's toxicology report came back. There was morphine in the baby. The morphine they pumped into my daughter for 19 hour's while she was in labor, for placenta-previa. The Assessment worker testified in court she had no clue the morphine was given to my daughter in labor. They kept the baby any way. In NH, prenatal substance abuse is NOT considered abuse and neglect, so they instead charged the mother with anticipated "Neglect in the Future", another CPS/DCYF dirty little trick!
