Greenwood cop on leave after baby left in car

GREENWOOD — A Greenwood Police Department officer who is the son of a former police chief has been put on unpaid leave after his child was left unattended in a car outside a local restaurant.
Officer Nick Dine, the son of Greenwood police Lt. Bob Dine, had parked outside the Applebee’s, 874 S. Ind. 135, about 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29, according to written charges released today by the department.
