High percentage of reports to DCYF deemed 'unfounded' | New Hampshire:
CONCORD — More than 86 percent of the reports of child abuse made to the Division of Children, Youth and Families are determined to be unfounded, according to DCYF Director Lorraine Bartlett, who was questioned recently by the Executive Council on plans to hire an outside agency to evaluate the division’s performance in protecting the children of New Hampshire.
