What The Adoption and Safe Families Act Means To the Families of America

What The Adoption and Safe Families Act Means To the Families of America

In 1997, President Clinton passed the Adoption and Safe Families Act, which was intended
to “promote the adoption of children in foster care.”
In doing so, good ole President Clinton put a huge price tag on the heads of American children, though well intended, this Act has literally torn apart thousands and thousands of innocent families.
President Clinton's intent was to find adoptive homes for ABUSED children taken from their families and placed in Foster care. ABUSED children who are NOT safe in their own homes. ABUSED children  without other relatives willing and able to raise them. Abused children with nowhere else to go.
Federal mandates were put into place  when this Act was established to make sure families were not torn apart needlessly. To make sure children were placed with relatives when their homes weren't safe. It was a way to provide CPS/DCYF with incentive money for doing a good job. For finding homes for children who needed them.
As we are all aware, the intent of The Adoption and Safe Families Act has been totally abused by the people who are supposed to be "protecting" our most precious God given gift, our children.
Vice President Mondale stated this Act could very well be abused and he was right. It has been abused since the day it went into effect. Children are being removed at alarming rates throughout our Country. For every child taken and placed in Foster care, CPS/DCYF are rewarded. Children are taken for the most frivolous reasons. Parent's and families are lied about, CPS worker's perjure themselves, Hearsay without proof of abuse is used in these cases, though it's supposed to be illegal and Family Court Judges ALWAYS take the word of CPS/DCYF over the family.
The majority of the children taken and placed in Foster care have never been abused or neglected, while many abused children remain in their homes suffering.
Unabused Children are then adopted out. CPS/DCYF receive even more blood money for each of these children, even after innocence is proven. Fictitious father's lose the rights to their children, making it all the easier to adopt them out, while the Judges are well aware the REAL Fathers rights have never been terminated. The children are adopted out ILLEGALLY!
Why doesn't our Government have a clue? CPS/DCYF and the Family Courts are obtaining Title IV blood money FRAUDULENTLY! What don't they get? Our children are Not For Sale!
Put an end to The Adoption and Safe Families Act. Our children belong with their REAL Families. The Families railroaded by CPS/DCYF and the Family Courts!

Audit called for Child Protective Services: America’s fourth scandal

Audit called for Child Protective Services: America’s fourth scandal - Hi-Desert Star: Letters To Editor:

With today’s serious government scandals being brought to light, there remains one that has eluded the national attention under the premise of protecting children.
It has recently been spotlighted again in the Hi-Desert Star’s May 15 article, “Lawmaker calls for audit of Child Services” and channel 11’s continued series of “System of Lies,” which aired May 15.
The latter reference documented a lawsuit against Orange County’s Child Protective Services, while more lawsuits continue to pile up.
It’s chilling to hear that when social workers are caught in lies and perjury, the punishment, according to Orange County’s director, is absolutely nothing! After attorney Shawn McMillan of San Diego won Deanna Fogherty-Hardwick’s case against Orange County CPS, the director refused to admit any wrongdoing. In reply to the Supreme Court’s decision on the matter, he stated, “That’s their opinion.” This response exemplifies an agency that has little or no accountability, which does not inspire public trust or confidence.
Hundreds of billions of our tax dollars are at work paying for:
1. A child’s “removal” (often unnecessary and unwarranted);
2. “Services” required to keep the child in foster care;
3. Group homes (up to $8,500 per month per child);
4. Contracted service providers for the parent(s) to earn the right to remain a parent(s);
5. Personnel positions (receptionists, caseworkers, supervisors, transporters, court clerks, transcribers, judges, etc.);
6. Adoption bonuses the department earns for going above the previous year’s quota;
7. Psychotropic drugs “needed” for children experiencing separation anxiety;

8. The department’s defense in lawsuits and the consequent settlements.

SC justices deny requests from birth father, Cherokee Nation to rehear adoption case

SouthCoastToday.com | Latest News from the Associated Press:

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina's highest court on Wednesday refused to rehear a case involving a South Carolina couple's attempts to adopt a girl of Cherokee heritage, setting up a family court action - and potentially a federal lawsuit.

This little girl belongs with  her Father, not with a couple who can't make their own children. God made people infertile for a reason and it wasn't to take children from other's who can have children.
What is wrong with our Justice system these days? Have they all fallen off their rocker's? What gives them the right to play God? This little girl will suffer immensely if she's taken from her REAL family she's grown to know and love. But what do the Court's care? They do it every day to our children. No wonder the Pharmaceutical company's are getting rich off of our children. Parent's no longer have any rights.
I though New Hampshire was bad adopting children out without terminating a Father's right's. I guess South Carolina's INJUSTICE system is in the same category!

Baby Veronica: Another side to the story

Local View: Baby Veronica: Another side to the story : Opinion:

On the surface, it appears from reading the Journal Star on July 18 that after a long legal ordeal, Baby Veronica is back where she belongs -- with the Capobiancos, the adoptive parents her birth mother, Christy Maldonado, chose for her.
But the Associated Press story and Maldonado’s op-ed piece, though they tug at our heart strings, tell only a small part of the story. They portray Veronica’s father, Dusten Brown, who fought to gain custody of her and raised her for the past two years, as a deadbeat dad. They represent his tribe, the Cherokee Nation, as an opportunistic entity and the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) as an unwarranted government intrusion into the private decision of a birth mother.

Have You Seen Me?

                                        Have You Seen Me?

My REAL name is Austin Ricardo Gamez-Knightly and I turned 13 January 25th. I was born on January 25th, 2000 and lived with my Mother and Grandparent's for the first three years of my life. I was always a happy little boy and my Grandfather was my favorite person in the world.
I was stolen from my grandparents home by Nashua DCYF on February 3rd, 2006 after my Mother was falsely accused of neglect of me and my sister. Even though it was proven to be a false report and all criminal charges against my Mother were dropped in Criminall Court, CPSW Anna the homewrecker and CASA Angela Delyani-Hart both vowed to make sure me and my sister would never be returned. Judge LaFrancois refused to drop the charges against my Mother in Family Court and refused to return me and my sister. I haven't seen my little sister since 2007 when my stepfather got custody of her, but left me at St. Charles Childrens Home. I alaway's thought he was my father until NH DCYF and the Childrens Home really messed me up and told me he wasn't.
My Mother never abused me or neglected me, or my sister. My Mother and my Grandparents were always there for me and gave me and my sister everything we needed. We were always happy until DCYF kidnapped my sister and I from our family. I have been separated from all of them since 2007, even though I told them from the beginning I wanted to live with my Grandparent's if they wouldn't let me live with my Mother. They didn't care. They drugged me instead stating I have violent behavior. Why shouldn't I be violent when they ripped me and my sister from my family?
I know my REAL Family is still looking for me. I was supposed to be placed with my Grandparent's, but they were denied after Supervisor Tracey Gubbins made false statements in their unfinished home study. At the time, they couldn't find anyone who wanted to adopt me, except my Grandparents. Then when they finally reeled in a family to take me, my Grandparent's were denied my placement with them. My name was even changed before I was adopted. I heard that was illegal, but everything they've done to me and my Family is illegal.
I'm lost without my Family and I know they are lost without me. If anyone see's me, please contact my Grandmother as I am forbidden to. I may be in the Seacoast area of NH, or God only know's where. They are trying to keep me hidden from my REAL Family, but one day they will find me. That is if I don't find them first!
I want to go home, where no matter what, my Family loves me and I love them!

Note:In NH parents of bi-racial children in Foster care, (who look white) are told by NH DCYF not to tell anyone the child is bi-racial. I've always heard this is because the white child is worth more and easier to place. In NH, statistics show the highest percentage of stolen children are whit, unlike other States. Also in NH, in order to get adoption assistance:1. What specific factors or conditions does your state consider to determine that a child cannot be placed with adoptive parents without providing financial.
assistance? (“What is your state definition of special needs?”).
A child with special needs is defined as a child that has at least one of the following needs or circumstances.
that may be a barrier to placement or adoption without financial assistance:
• Six years of age or older (if age is the only factor used to determine the need for adoption assistance).
• Member of a minority or ethnic group.
• Member of a sibling group of two or more which should be placed together.
• A physical or mental handicap or emotional disturbance.
• A language barrier.

This is sick! Because a child isn't white, the child is worth more in adoption assistance money? A child is considered "special needs" because he/she isn't white? Disgusting!

New Hampshire Families are being abused by NH DCYF and the Family Court's. Our children are being kidnapped and placed in the homes of stranger's, chosen by DCYF without following Federal mandates. A few other States have already begun auditing, finally realizing the harm Child Protective Services is bestowing upon children and families. The Families of NH have been requesting an Audit for the last four years. The Legislature has done nothing to move forward on this much needed Audit. Will NH be last as usual? This time we must all unite and contact the LBA. Demand  an Audit. Our Children are NOT For Sale and we must put an end to the abuse of NH Families and our traumatized children!
