MANCHESTER, N.H. -- The mother of the young girl held hostage during a 36-hour police standoff has broken her silence about the incident.
Laura Gardner said when police walked into Theo's -- where she works as a delivery driver -- last Thursday, she thought they were there to give her advance warning so she could remove her daughter from her home.
