A driver who found a Dorchester tot dead in his sweltering van had his license to shuttle children yanked by the Registry of Motor Vehicles yesterday, while Gov. Deval Patrick called for a “top to bottom” review of the state’s day-care regulations.
Patrick said the death of 17-month-old Gabriel Josh-Cazir Pierre Monday, after he was apparently forgotten in the van, “looks like a pretty profound lack of responsibility.”
