When an estranged grandparent, sees their stolen by the state grandchild for the first time, after over two decades, that grandparent is ecstatic. The grandparent that helped deliver that child. The grandparent who took care of the birth mother through the worst pregnancy ever witnessed. The grandparent who loved that grandchild from the day he/she was conceived and did everything possible to make sure that child survived such a rough pregnancy.
When the grandparent posts pictures they find of that grandchild, they do it to show them how much they are still loved and missed. When they post graduation pictures they found, it's because they are so proud of that grandchild making such a great achievement.
That grandchild should be flattered that the birth family still cares so much for them and wants to show them off to everybody and STILL wants them in their life. For some strange reason, the grandchild still believes that he/she was given away, evidently being told this false truth their entire life, along with many more.
In such a case, the only thing left for the birth family to do is to walk away and forget that this child was ever a part of their lives. Forget this child ever existed.This child no longer has a birth family. This child has treated his/her grandparent in the worst possible way. The birth family will never forgive or forget what this child has done to the Grandparent who has longed for that Grandchild all of their life. If he/she ever needs anything, look elsewhere. You have no birth family.
