Plan to expand staffing and hours for child protection services could take effect in September

Plan to expand staffing and hours for child protection services could take effect in September - Political Monitor:

The Division for Children, Youth and Families unveiled a $1.8 million plan Monday to provide around-the-clock staffing at child protection services, which is currently open during business hours only. The state agency, which investigates reports of child abuse and neglect, has come under renewed scrutiny following the recent deaths of two New Hampshire toddlers.
My Comment: “What is (the turnover) related to? Is it related to pay, is it related to benefits, is it related to the work?” asked Boutin, a Hooksett Republican. “What do we need to do to correct it?” Senator Boutin, maybe the high turnover rate is due to "some" of these worker's having a conscience. Some may find it hard to remove a child that they know shouldn't be removed, but they are ordered by their Supervisor's to do so.Another reason for the high turnover rate could be because the worker's have heard in the News about caseworkers being retaliated against by parent's pushed to their limits by caseworkers. The plan to expand staffing hours has nothing to do with the two deceased children. The only way Brielle could have been saved was if DCYF and the Judge didn't send Brielle and her siblings back into their home with criminal child abuse charges pending against their Mother. That made absolutely NO sense. They send these children back, but never return children to their parent's when criminal abuse charges are dropped due to evidence of innocence. The only way to fix this mess is total reform of DCYF and the Family Courts.
