Mothers should be allowed to keep babies in prison, according to former Adelaide inmate - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation):

Former inmate Linda Fisk believes keeping mothers and babies apart in the prison system only creates harder criminals and says current policy needs to change. Ms Fisk, chairperson of the Seeds of Affinity support group for women with prison experiences, was first jailed at the age of 16.
