The Associated Press: Texas boy kidnapped 8 years ago now seeing parents:
HOUSTON (AP) — A Texas boy who was found in March after having been kidnapped eight years ago as an infant has begun getting to know his parents through weekly joint therapy sessions with them, attorneys and child welfare officials said Wednesday.
I wonder what circumstances could be so unusual that the boy would not be returned to the parents immediately. If the parents have done nothing wrong and want to have custody, he should be with them. If they don't want custody, he should be with his siblings. Poor kid. Taken by a babysitter, then placed with strangers? Are are no family members fit to take this child home? This is more than a little fishy.
