Kenai Jury Faults OCS, Awards $2M to Sisters Abused in Foster Care | Alaska Dispatch:


According to the Peninsula Clarion, a Kenai jury has awarded $2 million to two sisters who were physically sexually abused in foster care.
The jury found that the Office of Children's Services was negligent in failing to protect the sisters from abuse, and failed to provide counseling after learning of their maltreatment.

  1. I am dealing with the same thing from Kenai OCS, they took our kids without inspecting our home or interviewing me and my wife, this just happened on the 27th. Then they put our children with the people who contacted OCS the Grandparents, and our son was abused in their care, so now our two daughters are with their Aunt Kaylee because we requested our children go to them but they took our youngest our son and put him with a foster family that we dont know, and OCS is telling the Aunt that they are not allowed to even speak with us about what is going on or else they will take the girls from her and put them into someone else's foster care...
