MARTINEZ, Calif. -- A judge Friday morning sentenced Antioch woman Shemeeka Davis to life in prison for torturing and abusing her two foster children and for murdering one of them.

  1. That is truly sad. Thank God there are foster parents though, good ones. It is a really tough thing to do.

  2. Yes, it's really tough getting paid by the state to raise a STOLEN child. Funny how the REAL parent's NEVER get any help or services to help them in times of trouble.
    Research the statistics on Foster care. More children are abused, neglected, sexually abused and murdered in Foster care than in their own homes. Isn't Foster care great?
