It was a journey Juan Diaz thought would never come to an end.
For years, the young father had searched for his son, whom he had last seen when the infant was 6 months old. "His mother moved and changed my son's name and I couldn't find him," he recalls.
Out of nowhere, he received a call from a relative with the news that his son, then 3, was in foster care.
"I started crying," said Diaz, who had been in and out of foster homes himself from age 8 through 19. "I didn't want that for my son.
