Adoptive parents still waiting for huge tax refunds - Jun. 2, 2011
NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Tina and Kenny Thomas filed their taxes in February and are still waiting for their refund.
The Thomases are expecting a whopping $65,000 check from the IRS this year, thanks to the adoption tax credit they claimed after adopting five special needs children from foster care over the past few years.
Doesn't your heart just bleed over this?

Yes it does and I can no longer hold back the tears. NOT! If people would just WAKE UP and realize where their tax $$$$ are going! Blood money for stolen children!

ReplyDeleteWhat about the FEDERAL DEFICIT? WOW! Our government actually allows this? The hideously huge amounts of monies going to adoptive families is completely disgusting! Billions and Trillions of Title IV Federal Funds to CPS, to foster families and to adoptive families yet nobody has a clue to how much the children benefit...and none of these money grubbers really care if these children don't benefit! But those foster and adoptive parents and CPS workers sure benefit now don't they!
What? THE FORECLOSED HOME THAT IS TO BE COMPLETELY PAID FOR BY THE GOOD OLE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FROM THE ADOPTION SUBSIDY might have to wait a bit longer? BOO-HOO-HOO!! Here we have a country full of homeless and hungry people, which might even include the people whose house got foreclosed on that the adoptive family is purchasing, and here is this family with 4 children that they adopted. Are these children happier and better off in this adoptive place then with their families. WHERE are the biological families of these kids? ARE THEY OK? I'll bet that MANY of these foster and adoptive children would gladly return home to their biological families if given the chance, if only someone would give them that chance. No new home, no fancy minivan with family friendly furnishings is going to heal a child's heart from the trauma caused by CPS when the child has been stolen from their family, where that child belongs. HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS, NOT WHERE THE MATERIAL GOODS ARE~
By the way, since we're talking about subsidies, WHERE ARE ALL THE "SUBSIDIES" for the families who have been devastated by CPS stealing their kids...to pay for the court costs, the costs of the evaluations that CPS requires of the parents, the costs of the supervised visits, the costs of fighting to get their child back home? HOW ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT GIVING ALL THOSE FAMILIES WHOSE CHILDREN HAVE BEEN STOLEN AN "I'VE BEEN SHIT ON BY CPS SUBSIDY?!" Surely THAT subsidy would give families EVEN MORE TRILLIONS of dollars then what the government allows these foster parents, adoptive parents and state employed child stealers!
