Is addiction evidence of child neglect? | LFDA - Live Free or Die Alliance:
On Thursday, April 21 the House of Representatives voted in favor of SB 515, a bill that establishes a parent’s opioid addiction as evidence of child neglect.
Current law requires other evidence of harm to the child before a finding of neglect.
Crock of shit! No evidence is needed to steal a child!

Mother Wins Appeal After Her Rights Were Terminated-The Case Could Change Michigan Law
She lost her parental rights. Now, she's won her appeal, and the case could change Michigan's laws | state of opportunity:

It's the story of Michelle Gach, a mother whose parental rights were terminated by a judge after her three-year-old-son was found wandering one morning with his dogs in a park across the street from his house. Gach told me she'd worked into the early morning that day, and her son snuck out of the house "to be a big boy" and walk the dogs while she slept.
