HARLINGEN – Federal authorities announced a new task force in the lower Rio Grande Valley to combat crimes against children. Investigators with Homeland Security Investigations are teaming up with Brownsville police, Harlingen police, the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office and the Cameron County Sheriff’s Office.
