Two Abilene Child Protective Services employees resigned May 31 after the agency learned one of them had an “inappropriate relationship” with the father of a 22-month-old girl who died from apparent neglect.
In addition, two other local CPS employees have been disciplined for not reporting what they knew of the situation.

FOSTER children went missing from care more than 17,000 times in a year and 168 of those occasions were in Dorset.
Figures released by Ofsted show that the numbers going missing while living with foster carers in England rose in 2014-15 by 19 per cent from the previous year.

Now I remember someone said, "It takes a village to bring up a child." I say that because when I called I was told three times only the person receiving funds from the agency could make a complaint. Does that account for why some children die because no one in the family could "interfere?"
