The Kansas Department for Children and Families could soon undergo an investigation by state leaders. Rep. Jim Ward of Wichita is requesting the audit. Ward is concerned DCF is discriminating against same-sex couples who foster in Kansas. He's also worried the agency isn't following policy to investigate, supervise, and protect children.
