SULLIVAN COUNTY, TN – (WJHL) – A former Child Protective Services investigator pleaded guilty Thursday in Sullivan County Criminal Court to forging an entry in a child death investigation. Assistant District Attorney Julie Canter said Cathy Agnew was looking into the death of a child in January and falsely recorded that she met face-to-face with the deceased child’s biological father. But the father died in December 2014. Agnew made the false record entry on Jan. 30.

Michael McCarthy, 35, was arrested Friday for Bella's murder.
Bond’s mother, 40-year-old Rachelle Bond, was arrested as an accessory after the fact.
