Plaistow mother involved in abuse case granted parole

Plaistow mother involved in abuse case granted parole | Local News - WMUR Home:

Jessica Linscott and Roland Dow dropped the boy off at a hospital in 2012 as he was suffering from life-threatening injuries. The two left the state and were eventually found at a Florida amusement park.In court Thursday, Linscott broke down and apologized. She spent two-and-a-half years in prison and will move back in with her mother and now-6-year-old son once she's released.
Comment: Only in New Hampshire! A Parent in NH loses her child to the State for child endangerment. A charge that was already dropped in Criminal Court. There was no physical abuse, no abuse at all. Family Court never dropped the charges and never allowed the Mother to present evidence of innocence. Evidence that WAS admitted into Criminal Court. I don't understand this State. First they give children back to a parent with Criminal Felony abuse charges pending. We know what happened in that case. A precious child is now dead. Now, after this Mother is found guilty of criminal child endangerment and goes to prison for two years, she has a second chance with her son. When will this State EVER treat parent's equally? Don't you think the Mother proven innocent in Criminal Court should have gotten her child back? Well she never did! And there are many more proven innocent in this State that never get their children back. What's up in this State?

4 charged with forging documents to get children into government-subsidized child care

4 charged with forging documents to get children into government-subsidized child care | News - Home:

The U.S. Health and Human Services inspector general's office says employees of the Children's Home Society faked documents categorizing children of their friends and family members as "at risk" so they could immediately get into a program for subsidized child care and pre-school.
