Heartbreaking footage has emerged showing the moment social services took a six-hour-old baby away from its parents and into care, leaving his mum and dad distraught.

The harrowing video, secretly filmed by the infant's dad, was released today after a landmark ruling by a senior judge who refused to outlaw its broadcast.

Gov. Mary Fallin made good on her ultimatum to sign extradition papers for "Baby Veronica's" biological father. This came after the U.S. Supreme Court, the Oklahoma Supreme Court and the South Carolina Supreme Court sided with the 3-year-old's adoptive parents Matt and Melanie Capobianco.
