1.2 Million Abortions, 1% Consder Adoption, TV Ads Spark Change | LifeNews.com:

In a country with an estimated 1.2 million abortions each year, less than 1% of single women with unplanned pregnancies choose adoption. To shine the light on adoption, Heroic Media and Bethany Christian Services successfully launched the first-ever national TV ad campaign focused on adoption as a positive alternative to abortion. Women across the country responded to learn more about adoption, with many considering preparing an adoption plan for their child.

(SIGH)….FOSTER PARENTS SUCK….SOMETIMES!

(SIGH)….FOSTER PARENTS SUCK….SOMETIMES! | Anonymous Social Workers:

The foster care system is a fractured entity that undoubtedly adversely affects children from broken homes. I might as well go out on a limb and proclaim that the foster care system will NEVER be a perfect establishment for the protection of our children. Working within a private agency allows me the opportunity to witness the reality of this fractured system, while also giving me insight into the state of our next generation.

FOSTER CARE AND IMMORAL ASS FOSTER PARENTS

FOSTER CARE AND IMMORAL ASS FOSTER PARENTS | Anonymous Social Workers:

The social services field consists of an assemblage of factions that involves a multitude of players who attempt the impossible… cohesively facilitating the protection  of abused and neglected children.
From experience, there are some foster parents who run their homes like a business, or small money-making facilities.

Child Kidnapped, Placed in Foster care:Why?

You must remember the story of the 8 month old baby boy who was kidnapped in 2004 by his babysitter, who was also his Godmother and friend of the family, whom he was left with for one night.
The now eight year old boy was found back in March of 2012, in San Augustine Texas. See: / The News headline read:

Texas boy kidnapped in 2004 reportedly found alive, reunited with mother,

but he wasn't reunited with his Mother. He was instead placed in Foster care. Why?

Before CPS/DCYF become more powerful than our local Police and Politicians, kidnapped children were immediately returned to their families when found. Haven't these families been through enough? The loss of a child can push anyone over the edge. Not knowing if the child is alive or dead. Not knowing where the child is and not  knowing why anyone would do something so horrible. This family lived with their grief for eight long years, without closure and then finally get word their little boy is alive and are still kept from him. Kidnapped in 2004 and then kidnapped again, by our own government eight years later.

What has happened to our beloved Country, where all it takes is just one false report to your local CPS to have your child stolen? Where retaliation against families reigns KING? Where everybody is told it's mandatory to report any suspicions of child abuse? Where parent's are railroaded in Family Court's throughout our Nation, by lying CPS/DCYF worker's, their Lawyer's and unethical Judges, without "Due Process" of law, without evidence of abuse? Children taken due to false claims of abuse? Children taken because CPS/DCYF can look into their crystal ball and predict the child will be abused and or neglected in the future? Children taken because Judges ALWAYS side with CPS/DCYF? These Judges can't be reading the files. If they were, they would see ALL the contradictions made. All the false report's, where one document states one thing and another states the opposite. Where relatives are slandered in order to place the children in Foster homes. Where father's rights are terminated of men who aren't even the father's, where Judges grant illegal adoptions, already aware the REAL Father was never contacted.

How can our Country let this happen to it's own citizens? We are NOT the enemy, so why are we treated as if we are? Why are our families being needlessly torn apart? Our stolen children traumatized and drugged to oblivion? God help our next generation!

This child should NEVER have been placed in Foster care. He should have been sent home to his family as soon as he was found. The family has been put through eight years of Hell. They need to get their family back together, without CPS and the Family Court in their lives!

Children’s Mental Health Remains a Concern

Children’s Mental Health Remains a Concern | The Children's Monitor:

Citing continuous concern regarding the services and treatment provided to children in foster care with mental health conditions, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) recently examined  the use of psychotropic medications and other mental health services for children in Medicaid, information on the use of psychotropic medications and other mental health services for children in foster care (as provided by the Department of Health and Human Services), and the amount HHS has invested in research on children’s mental health.  The report, requested by Members of Congress, provides in-depth information on mental health services for children in the Medicaid program.
Based on data from 2007-2009, the GAO found that on average 6.2 percent of noninstitutionalized children in Medicaid nationwide and 4.8 percent of privately insured children took one or more psychotropic medications. For antipsychotics, which were taken at a much lower rate, data revealed that the rate of incidence for children in Medicaid was over twice the rate for privately insured children. In addition, HHS’s Administration for Children and Families (ACF) reported that almost one in five foster children were taking psychotropic medications, although use varied widely based on the child’s living arrangement (congregate vs. family based care). From FY 2008-2011, HHS agencies spent an estimated $1.2 billion on over 1,200 children’s mental health research projects during fiscal years 2008 through 2011.
In 2011, GAO recommended that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) identify options for collecting information from states on whether children in Medicaid have received services for which they were referred and the findings from this report seem to underscore the continued significance of CMS’s monitoring of children’s receipt of mental health services. Since GAO initially provided recommendations to HHS to improve the quality of care for children enrolled in Medicaid, HHS has taken steps to promote appropriate mental health treatments for foster children, including supplying information to states on psychotropic medication oversight practices.

New Arkansas Law Keeps More Kids out of Foster Homes

New Arkansas Law Keeps More Kids out of Foster Homes:

New legislation in Arkansas is changing the way the Department of Human Services (DHS) handles abuse cases.
Arkansas is the first state in the country to begin a new approach.
As the law stands now, any sort of neglect, like forgetting to enroll a child in school or not bathing them everyday, could mean your child is sent to foster care.
