The boss of WA's child protection agency has had to defend his department after 16 reports of child abuse in State care in 2011-12 - the most in almost a decade.
The previous year there were just two reported cases.

Get into a new line of work and leave our kids Alone! It's quite obvious these Psyche Doctor's are as bad as CPS/DCYF. They think drug's will cure everything. No wonder there's so many drug addict's today!

CPS seeks 200 workers, $49.5 mil

CPS seeks 200 workers, $49.5 mil:

Arizona's child-welfare agency is asking for 200 more employees to shore up a system overwhelmed by record numbers of abuse reports, foster children and backlogged cases -- a crisis exacerbated by persistently high worker turnover in the agency.

How about they fire 200 worker's and use the money to keep families together? Just a thought!
