UPDATE: Charges Pending Against Foster Parents in Toddler's Death:
JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Charges are expected to be filed against the foster parents of a 3-year-old girl who was found dead in a car in Jackson County. Deputies say "Jasmine" was left in the car for nearly three hours before she was found.

The Connecticut Supreme Court releases major decision supporting parents' rights.
AFR News: The Connecticut Supreme Court has just released a major decision supporting parents' rights.:
Connecticut, for many years, adhered to the doctrine of predictive neglect.
This basically states that if you have previously had a child removed or terminated, and later have another child, then that new child may be removed, adjudicated neglected (and later terminated), even if you have not neglected or abused that child; solely on a prediction that that child will be at risk of harm. That risk may be found by a simple preponderance of the evidence, without a showing of fault of either parent.
