A couple scheduled to stand trial in the 2007 fatal beating of the woman’s 16-month-olddaughter have pleaded guilty to lesser charges.
A West Baton Rouge Parish grand jury indicted Jeremy Jordan and Shaelsie Jason in November 2010 on counts of principal to second-degree murder in the death of Ahlayjah Jason.

The Fairfax Media story published last week also revealed that 3240 New Zealand children between the ages of 10 and 19 were given anti-psychotic medication last year, a spike of close to 50 per cent over the previous four years.
