Keep Families Together

Keep Families Together | Teen Opinion Essay on current events/politics, drugs/alcohol/smoking, social issues/civics, childcare, orphanage, orphans and foster home:

John is five years old. He lives with his mother Nancy, who is 25. One night, child welfare services receives a call from the police department. Nancy has been arrested. Child welfare is asked to come pick up John. In the days that follow, it becomes clear that Nancy's drug addiction is serious, but she loves her son, and John, who's been in foster care since the arrest, really misses his mom. Now, my dream isn't for anyone to feel sorry for Nancy. Nancy got herself into this position. She is young and foolish, she hangs out with a bad crowd, and this isn't the first time she's been in trouble. My dream isn't for society to feel sorry for Nancy; my dream is for society to think about John.

Restore the Balance of Powers in N.H. Government

Restore the Balance of Powers in N.H. Government

Ever since the people were misled into incorporating Part 2, Article 73-a as part of the N.H. Constitution in 1978 by a description of the measure that basically called it a housekeeping effort, the N.H. Supreme Court has had the power to write court rules that have the "force and effect of law," a power traditionally reserved for the Legislature by the original Constitution. Even more dangerous, Article 73-a made the Chief Justice of the N.H. Supreme Court the "administrative head of all the courts." Because the Legislature is known in the Constitution as the "General Court," some have interpreted Article 73-a as a constitutional change that gives the courts unbridled authority over the Legislature, and by extension, the People. Such an understanding is intolerable in a free Constitutional Republic and it is inconsistent with the rest of the N.H. Constitution. CACR 26 would repeal Article 73-a and essentially give the Legislature full authority to pass statutory law governing how the courts should be administered, which is the way the courts used to be run when the N.H. Constitution was established.

TAKE ACTION:

Please e-mail all Senators at Senators@leg.state.nh.us and ask them to make sure they support CACR 26.
Please attend the public hearing for CACR 26 at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012, in LOB Room 101 and testify in favor of the repeal language.
E-mail Senate President Bragdon and Majority Leader Bradley and ask them to support this amendment to the N.H. Constitution.

NH DCYF's Treatment of Parent's of Mentally Ill Children

The abuse of parent's by NH DCYF with mentally ill children seem's to be a growing trend in NH. Stories of  DCYF abuse of these parent's just keep popping up all over this state.
What is a parent supposed to do when their child display's dangerous behaviors?
Supposedly the parent is to go to DCYF for help.
What happens when the parent goes for this so-called help?
In NH, in order to get services for their mentally ill child, the parent is forced into signing over their right's to their child, forced into signing paper's admitting guilt of abuse and neglect, when there is NO abuse and neglect, OR, if the parent refuses to do either, they are falsely charged with abuse and neglect.
Now isn't ALL this illegal?
DCYF prides themselves in supposedly helping families.Giving services to families who need them. In their dreams maybe. Parent's with no clue of how the system really work's, unknowingly go to DCYF in these trying times. They believe their child and family will finally get the help it need's. Little do they know, once DCYF is called their lives will NEVER be the same. A new Hell has been created. A Hell no family should endure. Trying to help your child in the state of NH is like signing your soul over to the devil.
There is NO help. You've just set yourself up for the ride of your life. A never-ending nightmare.
Don't forget, your children are the money maker's for DCYF. Without them, they would be out of job's. Why should they help you when there's nothing in it for them? Every child they take into custody bring's in more money. You can blame Title IV funding for that. Our innocent children are funding DCYF to stay in business. Yes, you heard me right! DCYF is a business. The more children they steal, the more money is funneled in from our Federal Govt. So don't ever think DCYF is there to help you or your child. They are only helping themselves. If not for ALL of our stolen children, every one of them would be in the unemployment line.
Please, don't trust DCYF. Just because they are a Govt. agency, they are NOT on your side. Don't be fooled, as so many of us have been in the past. We learned the hard way and are still fighting for our children's return!
Stay as far away from DCYF as possible. Don't look for help from them, because the word help, isn't part of their vocabulary. The only word they know is Destroy! Don't say I didn't warn you!

Reporter Kathy Burn's & Concord Monitor's Lack of Professional Ethic's in Reporting

DMVC Productions = Results: Reporter Kathy Burn's & Concord Monitor's Lack of Professional Ethic's in Reporting:

This article is a perfect example of media sources and reporters that are bringing the art of accurate and responsible reporting to a disgraceful decline; unless of course you want a narrow minded and personal bias as your basis for news.
In this example, the only Child running amok is the Reporter Kathy Burns and her reporting style if one can be found; it is indicative of bitterness, bias and unprofessionalism everything that media ethics purports not to do.
