As a new parent there are many situations you may or may not prepare yourself for, but no-one would ever imagine that at 12 years old it could turn out that your daughter isn’t yours!
That is what happened to 2 very different Russian families, whose daughters were switched at birth. The girls are very different with one having blonde hair and the other being very dark.
In fact the reason it came to light was because one of the father’s split from the mother and refused to pay maintenance on the grounds that she wasn’t his as she didn’t look like him. So they had DNA tests which revealed that she did not belong to the mother either.
But now it is too late to sue hospital staff as too much time has passed. Both girls wish to remain where they are.
