Repeal CAPTA and The Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997
Repeal CAPTA and The Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997 | The White House:
Repeal CAPTA and The Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997
CAPTA (Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act) and ASFA (the Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997) need to be repealed. Family court systems all across America are misusing & abusing these laws every single day in our country. CPS agencies are removing children from safe, loving homes, drugging them, & putting them into foster care, all to maximize their federal funding. With the Adoption and Safe Families Act,(ASFA) there is no financial incentive for CPS to reunite children with their parents. The department only gets funded when they keep the children in their custody as long as possible, then they receive huge cash adoption bonus INCENTIVES, ("Federal Adoption Bonuses") when they terminate parental rights & adopt their children out to strangers. It's a gross conflict of interests.
