My two sons were removed from my care. I am an alcoholic. I have done everything to correct my situation and have proven myself. I have done things NOT required of me. I cry constantly. I miss my sons so much. I am running out of time for permanancy/reunification. Visitation hasn't started yet. I am not getting any help at all. I don't even know where to turn. I feel like I have been defeated and my "my family" is suffering for this.

When adoption goes wrong

When adoption goes wrong

Sound's like what happened to a family in NH. The mother was accused of abuse and neglect after going through this same nightmare, because she was trying to get help for her child. CPS kept saying there was nothing wrong with the child, after removing the child from the mother's care, yet collected social security for the child for mental issues. The child got mush worse never getting the treatment the child needed while in foster care. The child was returned, needing extensive therapy.

Wally and Dawne Busch of Petersburg eagerly adopted their son Alan at the age of two in 2000, knowing that they would be in for some challenging times. They knew that Alan, now 13, had been abused by his biological mother, and they weren’t surprised when, around the time he hit puberty, he began to develop severe emotional and behavioral issues, which often manifest in violent outbursts, threatening Alan’s safety and that of everyone around him.

Child Protective Services protest rally at State Capitol: Can foster care lead to abuse?

Child Protective Services protest rally at State Capitol: Can foster care lead to abuse? - Denver News - The Latest Word: "'Kidnapping is illegal by Child Protective Services.' 'Our constitutional rights are violated.' 'Foster care more dangerous than family care.' Those are some of the slogans you can expect to see during a noon rally at the State Capitol. Govabuse.org organized the rally as part of the site's nationwide protests (all happening today) against Child Protective Services, which Denver co-organizer Robin Cash says is unconstitutionally taking children from their parents. CPS then put the kids in foster care, which Cash alleges makes them vulnerable for abuse."
