Every effort must be made for children to stay with Grandparents / family members instead of foster care.
· Grandparents / family must have visitation rights without current criminal treatment
· Families must be given assistance instead of removing their
Children example; removal due to gas shut-off
· Parents must be restored freedoms to raise their children
· Immediate access in all cases for children’s records
· Option to have a Jury, when requested in family courts

· Assigned judges are ‘DOUBLE-DIPPING’. Pretend to ‘retire’
but are assigned to family court cases, collecting approx; $485.00 per ‘day’ while collecting their retirement pay- all paid by taxpayers
· Court appointed guardian-ad-litem / advocate for child / lawyer for child

CAPTA- The law that undermines children's rights

I have been SCREAMING about the upcoming renewal of CAPTA since November, 2009.
Even though CAPTA expired on September 30, 2008, renewing this stinking turd has been smoldering on the back burner while the communists have otherwise busied themselves "fundamentally transforming America".
Now the Lame Ducks have a mountain of unfinished evil agenda to try to ram through before they are expelled from the halls of Congress.
If they do not manage to shove the renewal of CAPTA through (or bury it in some other monstrosity as an amendment), CAPTA will go into 2011 without authorization.
The mere lack of reauthorization of CAPTA has apparently been no problem, because the leviathan industry of arrogant Stupid People with a bad attitude and evil agenda it created isn't about to cease and desist with their terrorism and destruction of the American family.
And of course, the field is quite littered with two dozen "me too" Federal legislation that has been passed since. Who needs to worry about the first domino that started this insane pandemic?
Well, what IS a child's right? I am not aware of anything specified in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights about children's rights.
Were the founders oblivious to children's rights?
Yes they were.
And likewise, they were oblivious to race rights, homosexual rights, women's rights.
All those old codgers did was write up a "Charter of Negative Liberties". You know- what the government supposedly "can't" do to you.
Do American kids get Constitutional Rights the day they turn 18? Or 21? Do American kids automatically receive their Constitutional Rights at birth? Or do they have Rights before birth?

It seems pretty obvious that the Founders certainly did intend for EVERY US citizen to have the SAME RIGHTS, regardless of age. Or any other "special designation".
The problem then, is not that American kids have no rights- because they certainly do. The problem comes from deliberate obfuscation and misdirection- Breaking the US up into CLASSES- In this case, promoting the concept of Rights of Parents vs. the Rights of Children.
Who would want to do such a thing?

How does CAPTA undermine children's rights?
Those who would desire to foment a "problem" when none existed, merely need to implant the idea that parents are working against the "rights" of children. Which in it's most basic terms means- kids want to be left to childish, selfish behaviors, not assume responsibilities and accountability.
Contrarily, parents' number 1 job above all else is to teach their children how to be adults. Plenty of room in-between to invite an interloper.

Into this foaming mix now comes European Socialism. The lie is that kids have no rights and it's the job of international government to formulate and extend special rights to children- and aggressively enforce those "rights" against the "oppressive" parents.
That gem is the UNCRC, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Which has never been ratified by the US. Stopping it is what S.R. 519, S.J. Res 16 and H.J. Res. 42 are about.
I have been trying to educate people that the UNCRC has ALREADY been SUPPLANTED into American law and has been DE FACTO in force ever since the 1974 CAPTA was enacted.

This whole thing is a pitiful, insane nightmare that enslaves American children by denying them their American Constitutional Rights, particularly their Fourth Amendment Right "to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

GREENWOOD — A Greenwood Police Department officer who is the son of a former police chief has been put on unpaid leave after his child was left unattended in a car outside a local restaurant.
Officer Nick Dine, the son of Greenwood police Lt. Bob Dine, had parked outside the Applebee’s, 874 S. Ind. 135, about 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29, according to written charges released today by the department.
