Court sides with mom who gave birth while on methadone

Court sides with mom who gave birth while on methadone - NBC40.net:
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - New Jersey's Supreme Court says a woman can't be considered to have abused and neglected her child because the infant was born with symptoms of methadone withdrawal.
The ruling published Monday reverses a lower court ruling that required her custody to be state-supervised.
Comment:I wonder if this case help's out the Mother's in the other States, including New Hampshire. Mother's whose newborns were stolen and adopted out because the Mother's were on Methadone. Mother's who were court ordered OUT of Methadone treatment! Will these Mother's cases be considered Null and Void?

States start to crack down on parents 're-homing' their adopted kids

States start to crack down on parents 're-homing' their adopted kids:

Among pet owners, "re-homing" an unwanted dog or cat is a relatively straightforward process. The owner who seeks an alternative home often places an ad on the Internet, and a private transaction occurs that moves the pet to a new family. But with the rise of foreign adoptions of children and the inability of some parents to handle troubled youths, more and more desperate families are taking that approach with adopted youngsters and re-homing the children with strangers. Often those re-homed children report gruesome tales of physical, sexual or emotional abuse by their new guardians.

STOP THE ADOPTION INCENTIVE PROGRAM

Americans Against Tyranny

https://www.facebook.com/events/1509448755990877/?ref_newsfeed_story_type=regular

Currently Sitting in the Senate is Bill H.R. 3205. It was introduced by Rep. Camp, Dave [R-MI-4] (Introduced 09/27/2013). The Bill contains the following.

Title I—Adoption incentives grant program

Sec. 101. Extension of program through fiscal year 2016.

Sec. 102. Improvements to award structure.

Sec. 103. Renaming of program.

Sec. 104. Limitation on use of incentive payments.

Sec. 105. Increase in period for which incentive payments are available for expenditure.

Sec. 106. State report on calculation and use of savings resulting from the phase-out of eligibility requirements for adoption assistance; requirement to spend 20 percent of savings on post-adoption services.

Sec. 107. Preservation of eligibility for kinship guardianship assistance payments with a successor guardian.

Sec. 108. Effective dates.

This means that currently the Adoption Incentive Program does not exist. This bill is to REAUTHORIZE the Adoption incentive program.

In the year 1997, Bill Clinton signed in the bill "Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997" or Bill 105 H.R 867. On section two of the bill you will find the following subsection.

https://www.facebook.com/notes/321441231391843/?pnref=story

I helped found Americans United Against Tyranny Family Division to advocate and reform Child Protective Services. The first step to reform is to take away the incentive of taking the children wrongfully.

As the American public the purpose of this event is to write to your local representative and ask them to vote NO on Bill H.R. 3205 and also organize rallies in your state out the front of your local representatives office. That is all I am asking you to do. Is send a quick email or make a quick call to your local Senator to VOTE NO on H.R. 3205

To accomplish what many have tried to do in the past will take many THOUSANDS of people around the United States of America! And you dont have to be dealing with Child Protective Services to do it!

Please invite EVERYONE you can.

If you dont know who your local rep is or how to contact them please let me know or another event admin and we will point you in the right direction.

I will also provide a "base" letter for those who do not have time so it can be copied and pasted!

It is time the American People STOOD up and said NO to this Bill.

Thank you for your participation and inviting all your friends.

Regards

Matt Virgin

In Remembrance of Brielle Eternity Gage-R.I.P. Little Angel

This is a picture of Brielle and her Daddy, who was fighting for custody of his little girl.

Another child in Nashua has died, "allegedly" by abuse while under the "watchful" eyes of Nashua DCYF.  See:

Nashua Police Investigating Death of a Child on Oak Street

Her name is Brielle Eternity Gage, age 3.
The Medical Examiner's Report has determined the cause of this precious little Angel's death is "Blunt Force Trauma".  See:

Medical Examiner: Nashua Girl Died from 'Blunt Force Trauma'

I, like so many other's, have many question's as to her death. Why did this happen? How could this happen? How could anyone do such harm to an innocent little child?
How in God's name could Nashua DCYF screw up so badly as to put this little girl and her four other siblings back into a home where Criminal Abuse charges are pending against Brielle's Mother and her Mother's boyfriend for  the "alleged" physical abuse of a young sibling?? They are both facing second degree assault charges. See:

Two Charged with Abusing 8-year-old

From what I've read, they were to go on trial this month.
What I really don't understand is how DCYF could return the children to the Mother, when Criminal charges of assault against the sibling are pending? These are serious charges. A child suffered physical harm, "allegedly" in this same home.
NH DCYF's Lorraine Bartlett, interviewed by WMUR, stated it was the Judge who returned the children. That DCYF had no say. (Sorry, still looking for this link.)  That's rather odd considering I and my family were told by Nashua DCYF caseworker's and a DCYF Attorney that the Judges have no say. That it's up to DCYF if a child is ever returned. Again, DCYF doesn't want to take the blame. I was told by them I was in "denial". So who's in "denial" now? I also read Judge Ryan of Nashua was on the case and he stated Nashua DCYF screwed up the paperwork, therefore the children were sent home.
Another Nashua Mother, went to Southern NH Regional Medical Center with her 3 year old daughter. She was "accused", of driving while intoxicated with her daughter in the car, which was never proven. She was stopped inside the Hospital after her daughter walked down three steps, not holding her Mother's hand. The Mother was charged with belligerent behavior because she wasn't allowed to leave the Hospital. She was later charged with child endangerment for driving intoxicated with her child in the car. Still never proven. Lab report's from the Hospital turned up almost six months later, showing No Alcohol and the Criminal charges were dropped in Criminal Court, yet the same Judge who dropped them in Criminal Court refused to drop them in Family Court,(Judge Bamberger). Her children were never returned. Her son ILLEGALLY adopted, while ALL Family member's were refused custody.
I just have to ask, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS STATE?  A child is brutally beaten in Nashua. He and a sibling were placed in Foster care and then returned home? First off, why weren't ALL five children removed and placed in Foster care? Why were they returned with criminal charges pending? What is wrong with this picture?  This innocent little girl did NOT have to die. DCYF removes children from innocent families and leaves the truly abused in homes suffering.
I just don't get it. And this isn't the first child who has died in Nashua while under the "watchful" eyes of DCYF. Will Nashua DCYF EVER get it right?
