CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire has become the first state in the country to give preference to grandparents in custody cases involving substance abuse.
My comment: It's about time and it took a Republican Governor to do it, as I always knew it would.
A little too late for my recently deceased husband who never got to see the
grandchildren he longed for, for 11 1/2 years after being taken by DCYF in 2006. He died with a broken heart over their loss.
