Two Child Protective Service employees resign, two disciplined in connection with case involving 22-:
Two Abilene Child Protective Services employees resigned May 31 after the agency learned one of them had an “inappropriate relationship” with the father of a 22-month-old girl who died from apparent neglect.
In addition, two other local CPS employees have been disciplined for not reporting what they knew of the situation.
