Sullivan County child death investigation finds social worker lied in records

Sullivan County child death investigation finds social worker lied in records | WJHL:

SULLIVAN COUNTY, TN – (WJHL) – A former Child Protective Services investigator pleaded guilty Thursday in Sullivan County Criminal Court to forging an entry in a child death investigation. Assistant District Attorney Julie Canter said Cathy Agnew was looking into the death of a child in January and falsely recorded that she met face-to-face with the deceased child’s biological father. But the father died in December 2014. Agnew made the false record entry on Jan. 30.
