New philosophy gives child welfare workers more choices:
Will things ever change for families that are struggling with the issues of child abuse and neglect? In Oregon, the answer is — Yes! The commitment to support families to remain stable and attached, with children in their own homes to reduce the trauma of being removed from their home and family, is a piece of what we will come to know as Differential Response.
