If investigators from the state Department of Children & Families had reacted more effectively to signs of parental child abuse, 10-year-old Nubia Barahona might still be alive today. Instead, her body was found in February 2011 inside a plastic garbage bag on her adoptive father's pickup truck. School authorities had contacted DCF repeatedly about signs of abuse and neglect, only to have their concerns dismissed after being told Nubia was suffering from "medical problems."

Baby Veronica case stirs powerful emotions among adoptees

Of all the people saddened by the news that the little girl named Veronica was forced to leave her biological father and return to her adoptive parents, it had not occurred to me that adult adoptees might be among those hardest hit.
Of all the people saddened by the news that the little girl named Veronica was forced to leave her biological father and return to her adoptive parents, it had not occurred to me that adult adoptees might be among those hardest hit.
But Hammond believes the circumstances of Veronica’s adoption could eventually have terrible consequences for the girl and her relationship to her adoptive parents.“What will they tell her? ‘Oh, look – we fought so hard for you, we tried to have your dad thrown in jail?’” said Hammond. “If I were to find out that my father had fought for me and my adoptive parents had fought him back, I would turn on them in a heartbeat. There is no way to whitewash this one. As soon as the kid can Google, it’s over.”
Note: Not only will Veronica's adoption have terrible circumstances when she finds out how hard her Father fought for her, so will all the other children, adopted out ILLEGALLY by the Court's. I'm sure the snowball is already rolling for many of these children. The Internet tells ALL!

Heroin Took Another Life Today-Dedicated to Ashley
Dedicated to Ashley-Rest in Peace, The fight is Over
Heroin took another girls life today,
She tried and tried to walk away,
She did everything she could to push it away,
Little did she realize,
It was here to stay,
Until today, her dying day.
Another life lost,
Another family destroyed,
Heroin addiction can not be ignored.
The disease is so strong,
A cure must be found,
Too many lives lost,
In our very own town.
The epidemic is growing,
It's Nationwide,
There has to be an end,
To this mass suicide.
The thought of losing a child,
Is so hard to bare,
So many fond memories,
Of her life we share.
A Mother who loved her,
Her young daughter too,
Along with family and friends
Ashley we will always remember you.
Rest in Peace Ashley

Antipsychotics Damage the Brain
Antipsychotics Damage the Brain | Citizens Commission on Human Rights of Florida (CCHR Florida) Blog:
Since nineteen ninety-three, children using antipsychotics has increased a whopping eight hundred percent. In teens, it has increased five hundred percent and one hundred percent in adults. These statistics are certainly cause for concern, but even more staggering is the fact that seventy-five percent of these people have brain damage caused by these drugs. Let’s look at the facts behind this catastrophe to get the full picture.

Brain Damage Caused by Neuroleptic Psychiatric Drugs
Brain Damage Caused by Neuroleptic Psychiatric Drugs — MFIPortal:
In the past two decades, countless medical studies have shown that use of neuroleptic psychiatric drugs (also known as antipsychotics) is associated with structural brain changes, especially when taking high dosages for a long time. These brain changes can include actual shrinkage of the higher level parts of the brain. The shrinkage can be seen in brain scans and autopsy studies. In response to industry defenders who claim that this shrinkage is from the "mental illness," studies show neuroleptics lead to similar brain changes in animals. While the medical side of large libraries has this information, the public media side of the library does not. In other words, the public, patients and their families are not being informed about what medicine has long known.

Another Case of Injustice in the NH Family Court System
A NH Mother, forced out of the apartment she shared with her husband by NH DCYF in 2006, who told both parent's if she didn't move out, neither would ever see their children again.
She was NEVER allowed to retrieve ANY of her or her children's belongings. The Father took EVERTHING, including all of the Mother's and son's clothes and personal belongings and ALL furniture. The Father told the Court he and the mother split up long before this and he took six pieces of furniture out of storage. He lied again. The Mother still has the lease of the apartment they shared. There was nothing in storage, but again the Court ruled in his favor, without proof of course, because "hearsay" without proof in NH is now the NORM, illegal as it is.The Father now has custody of one of the children and refused placement of the second.
The Father filed for divorce in 2012. Throughout this entire time, the Mother filed for visitation, which was court-ordered, but the Father refused to comply. He also told the MM if he allowed visits, the MM didn't have a brain in his head. This is NOT the same MM who ruled in his favor.
After all of the court-orders allowing visitation since 2007 and the Father never held in contempt for non-compliance, the Court now states that the Mother NEVER requested any Court intervention until after the Divorce filing. Will NH Family Court's EVER read the files instead of making half assed statement's in their decisions? Statements that are totally false? The truth is, the Mother has been filing Motions with the Court since 2007 for visitation with her daughter. While Court took place in her hometown, she was granted visitation every time, but her husband NEVER complied with the Court orders. Contempt charges were filed twice. Of course, the Court the case was transferred to ruled in his favor. His hometown. It's quite obvious the Court AGAIN didn't read this file. I doubt it was lost after being transferred to another town. I think it's more a case of the low income Mother being refused legal representation because the Father, owning a home, a business and new vehicles got the low income representation instead. Only in NH!
The Father denied he ever refused visitation. He even told the Mother his Mistress threatened to cut him off of everything they owned together if he let the child's Mother be in her life. The child is now brainwashed and when visits did finally start, because the Father was threatened with jail, she supposedly didn't want to see her Mother. After being brainwashed and probably threatened for seven years, of course she's going along with her Father.
The people have a HUGE problem in NH. The Marital Masters and Judges do NOT read Court files. This isn't the only case I've come across. There are many more. The Injustice in this State is horrendous.
Will the NH Family Court's EVER get it right or will the destruction of families continue?
On one hand this State claims it takes a Mommy and Daddy to raise a child. That is when DCYF is involved and the child is stolen and placed in Foster care.
On the other hand this State is responsible for splitting up parents and ordering only one parent to raise the child.
Will this State EVER wake up?
