Caseworkers cannot revisit a family after case is closed, according to CPS spokesman » Abilene Reporter-News:
"When Child Protective Services officials close a case, they also close the door on checking back in with the family to see if conditions are better.
A caseworker cannot go back and investigate a family unless a new case is opened, according to Paul Zimmerman, regional media specialist for Texas Department of Family and Protective Services."
That's a crock of BULL!
