STOP! Judicial Child Abuse: Shared Parenting House Bill 591 Remains Tabled:

Today, Rep. Jeff Oligny motioned to remove HB591 (an act relative to shared parenting) from the table. He requested a division vote and made a brief argument. In response, N.H. House Children and Family Law Representative Edward Moran argued that a similar bill was a failure in California and that it should not be taken off the table. Moran made a judicial argument, but one that is wholly impractical and deviates from the State's "statement of purpose" in N.H. RSA § 461-A:2 which states that children do best when they have stable and ongoing relationships with BOTH parents.
