ReplyDeleteClearly this teenager has issues that should have been addressed long ago. And now it may be too late for that teen to get help..... Of course it's very difficult for a troubled youth to get the right help, especially when the state is involved. This story reminds me of another child, also an adopted child, who tried repeatedly to harm his family, and the state of NH took the child into their custody under the false claim that the child was a perfectly normal healthy child who posed no threat to self nor to the community. NH's court also denied the child a CHINS ("child in need of services"...and upon appeal the court declared that this same child was just a juvenile delinquent and not a child in need of services)
NH's CPS (called "Division of Children Youth and Families or "DCYF") claimed that it would harm the child in the future if that child were to receive treatment for mental illness. However, the NH state run hospital (owned by DCYF's parent company, DHHS) was accepting this same child's social security mental disability/mental illness checks each month until the time that DCYF took custody of the child, AND even DCYFapplied as beneficiary of this same child's social security mental illness disability checks. At the same time, NH DCYF took the parent to family court stating abuse and neglect because the parent stated that the child was mentally ill and needed mental health help while DCYF stated that this same child was perfectly healthy and normal and not in need of mental illness treatment. And of course the NH Family Court listened to these supposed "professionals" who supposedly work on behalf of the best interest of the child (----NOT!).
NH DCYF told the family court that the child didn't need any mental health treatment as DCYF claimed that this child was supposedly a perfectly healthy and normal child with no signs of mental illness. And these DCYF fortune tellers also predicted future harm to that child if the parent sought mental health treatment for the child.....as this child was supposedly perfectly healthy.....having no mental illness......(---NOT!) This child's social security mental disability $$$$$$ were collected by the NH state run hospital for children and more social security mental disability $$$$$ for this child were collected by NH DCYF.....yet the child didn't get the mental health treatment that was so critical to that child's outcome. The NH DCYF staff "slanted" their paperwork to reflect how normal and healthy the child was and even claimed that the child was not in need of an IEP. The NH State run hospital covered up the child's learning disabilities by claiming that the child got all 100's on schoolwork during that inpatient stay. A few months later the state run hospital school stated that they destroyed that child's school file when the parent requested a copy of all of the child's schoolwork and testing during the child's inpatient stay. That same child required Title 1 reading, Title 1 math, smaller classes, longer time to complete homework, a teacher assistant to assist with comprehension whose schoolwork was approximately 1-2 years behind his classmates. Yah sure, that sounds just like a straight A child to me...don't you agree?
So, you see, had that teen from California only lived in NH instead, then the teen might never be facing murder charges. Instead the teen could have been taken into DCYF custody and said to be a normal and healthy child who poses no threat to himself or to the community, while NH DCYF collects the teen's social security disability monies and gets the teen no help. And that teen just might have been the next NH state run hospital's aspiring honor roll student!
