Payments to some Arkansas foster parents being cut in half, $35 million in tax cuts blamed
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Room and board payments to some foster parents in Arkansas will be cut in half in the fiscal year starting July 1.
A spokesman for Gov. Mike Beebe says $35 million in tax cuts approved during this year's legislative session is the reason for the cuts.
