Obama: Gay Couples Deserve Same Legal Rights | Care2 Causes
President Barack Obama told around 600 LGBT guests at a Democratic fund-raising dinner in Manhattan on Thursday that same-sex couples should have the same legal rights as heterosexual couples — but, as expected, he did not endorse New York’s same-sex marriage legislation, praising instead the New York Legislature for doing “exactly what democracies are supposed to doâ€Â and debating marriage equality.
President Obama will stand up for the right's of LGBTs, but will he ever stand up for the right's of parent's and their families who are torn apart by the court's and CPS every day?
President Obama, when will you protect the families of our Nation?
