CASA Superior Court Program cutting Guardian Ad Litem volunteers

KENNEWICK, Wash -- A Benton County Judge announced Tuesday the CASA Superior Court program will no longer use volunteer Guardian Ad Litems as court appointed special advocates that recommend where children should go in extreme custody battles involving allegations of neglect, and abuse. He says in Benton County they typically see 40 such cases a year.
